The title of your post is "Download Directx Version 9.0 for Gta San Andreas". Since I have never used GTA San Andreas before, this blog post will most likely be informative to me. First of all, what is Directx? I looked it up and found the following definition: "DirectX® is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries." So it seems that Directx is owned by Microsoft Corporation. That might explain why this post would be useful to me because I am on Windows 10, which has Netflix installed on my computer which requires DirectX 11 or later version. I also found the following explanation of Directx from a website called "WhatIs.com": DirectX is a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) for handling tasks related to multimedia, especially game programming and video, on Microsoft operating systems. Originally, the names of these APIs all began with Direct, such as Direct3D for 3D graphics, but since DirectX 8, they have been named after famous mathematicians and scientists such as WinSock (WinSock API), DirectSound (sound), and DirectPlay (networking). Beginning with DirectX 10, the X was dropped from the names because versions such as DirectX 9 had become widely used. Therefore, dx.com uses the "9" in a number of their Direct9 products, although the website is associated with DirectX 11. In summary from these websites, DirectX is a system that allows programmers to create graphical applications, such as games. It does this by using low-level hardware operations to get graphics done instead of having to do extremely complex calculations. I am hoping that this blog post will give me what I need so that I can learn more about DirectX and get a better understanding of it's functions for my own purposes of writing a computer program which will allow me to create games of my own. You are not very clear about what you are trying to find out, so let me try to help you. DirectX is an API which allows programmers to create graphical applications. It does this by using low-level hardware operations instead of having to do extremely complex calculations.  The steps in the process are as follows: 1. DirectX takes receives data from a problem statement and converts it into lower level data types, such as integers and floats (refer to http://micdevs.com/primer/).  It then translates this into hardware commands that can be understood by the computer's graphics card, which controls the display of the game world on the computer screen. 2. DirectX is responsible for displaying game objects (characters, places, and environments) on the screen (for the level designer) or sounds within games.  It also ensures that display objects remain at their specified location, does collision detection to prevent them getting stuck on scenery or one another, and takes control of keyboard input (maybe not for your program). 3. DirectX takes control of all input (keyboard, mouse, etc) which is then communicated to the game that is currently running. For example if you wanted to do network multiplayer you would tell DirectX how many players are connected to your game. cfa1e77820
