The Sims 4 is an open world, life simulation game. It allows the player to control the protagonist and their life, including relationships and occupations. Gameplay is similar to that of its predecessor, The Sims 3. Players create a Sim character and control their life to advance in the game. The Sims 4 was announced on May 6, 2014 and was released for Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2014.
